About Bri

  Writing about yourself is awkward.

I started cooking once I went off to college and realized that there was only so much Pasta Roni I could     stand in one week.  I learned how to cook through The Food Network and loved Rachael Ray before she     took over the world with her deep voice.  I cook by trial and error, have no training whatsoever and tend     not to measure.  I have a serious love affair with cheese and don’t enjoy Asian cooking because they            don’t use enough of it.  I was raised in Florida and now live in Charlotte, NC.  I love exploring all of    Charlotte’s best places to eat, from a dive burger joint to Capital Grille, I appreciate it all. I tend to over    order when I eat out and my eyes are always bigger than my stomach.

I wanted to start a blog about my cooking experiences because food is a common bond in all my relationships.   Most of my conversations with friends and family are about what I cooked last night and I always forget to write down the recipe, so I thought this would be a good way to share my cooking experiences.
